Great news!  I just got back from visiting Kate…at her house!  Yep, she’s out of the hospital and very glad to home surrounded by her loving family, and friends (two and four-legged).   She was super happy to get the bouquet of flowers that the class chipped in to get for her and excited to read her letters.  It sounds like she may still be out for awhile, but she’s one step closer to coming back to school.  Woo Hoo!

YIPES!!!!  It was obvious when we did our grammar review ( I had planned on it taking 5 minutes, not 30:) that many students were not prepared for the quiz today.  In the future I suggest you use your completed/ corrected assignments as a study guide.  Review any problems you missed in class and come and see me if you do not understand.  I would be happy to help you.

Know that even after I wrote the forms of the verb to be on the board, left an example on the board and wrote the steps to find the answers on the board, many students did not pay attention to what I wrote.

I know you all want to do well and most of you are, but now that we’re assessing your learning you may have to increase your level of participation.

STUDY FOR YOUR QUIZ FRIDAY!!!!!   Use your notes…printed and handed out last week…and your C7, S1 to review.  Make flash cards, take the online quiz, re-read the section…..:)
